What is a Pixiebob..
This unique wolf-like coat pattern is a rare color variation of the Siberian Husky. caused by the Agouti gene. Agouti is a word used to describe coat colors that are dark and banded. What we mean by banded is that a single hair will have at least two different bands of color on it. The bands are usually a shade of tan and black. They may also have areas of white fur, often seen on the nose, chest, and legs. This beautiful, dark appearance will usually have a tan or fawn undercoat. This coat will change throughout the dogs lifetime, from lighter to darker, but it will always retain that beautiful, wolf-like coloring. This rarity makes the agouti Husky a unique and sought-after coat color.
