Our Pixiebob

The Pixiebob, a captivating breed that exudes wild charm with its bobcat-like features. The Pixiebob is a breed known for their resemblance to the North American Bobcat, making them a sought after companion. We have been breeding this beautiful Legend Cat for well over 25 years. They are the most unique, alluring, and intriguing breed. It is not unheard of that the Pixiebob knows their name, comes when called, walks on a leash, goes camping, and plays fetch, making them oftenly called as a ''dog in disguise''. Their intelligence, loyalty, and gentle nature, makes them excellent companions. This breed forms strong bonds with their families. The Pixiebob sports a rugged substantial exterior, from their solid bone structure, thick spotted bobcat-like coat, and the natural bobbed tail, adds to their wild appearance. The Pixiebob is the only recognized breed that can be naturally polydactyl, meaning it can have extra toes. On a small scale, we have produced some rare colors which include slate gray, melanistic, and snow. These colors, however, are not the standard, but they do exist in the genetics of some of the Pixiebob bloodlines. We find them to be unique and equally beautiful.

Quite a few of our customers Pixiebobs are RV companions, traveling all over the States. We refer to the Pixiebob as ''Mans Next Best Friends''.

Pixiebob Features..

The face of the Pixiebob is like none other.. From the heavily deep setted eyes, broad muzzle, wide nose band, tuffs on the sides of face, ears adorned with tufts of fur at the points, and an abundance of bushy fur on the brow, creates that brooding, wild expression that are all characteristics of this beautiful legend Cat.

the melanistic Pixiebob..

A very rare and unique color in the Pixiebob breed, the melanistic. Once in a while we will produce this color. There is black spotting that can be seen underneath the outer coat. In natural daylight, these spots can be visibly seen.
